We are Dan & Andrea DeWard. We’ve been married for 30 years as of last St. Patrick’s Day — yes, we chose St. Patrick’s Day for our wedding, and it was amazing! We have been in the wedding industry for over 25 years. When we initially started, we thought all weddings were handled the exact same way. Some things we tried worked great, and some things did not.

We quickly learned that every wedding has its own unique style and flow to match the bride’s vision. That’s when we really started having fun, and our business quickly grew.

Over the past 25+ years, we have owned and operated multiple wedding lines of business including three large wedding venues in downtown Grand Rapids, a photo and video studio, a floral design studio creating bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, wedding decorations, and centerpieces, a DJ company, photo booths, limousine and party bus services, a gown salon selling bridal dresses and bridesmaids dresses, tuxedo rentals, wedding invitations, full wedding planning, day-of coordinating, timeline and floor plan creation, and more.

We have also worked with many other West Michigan wedding services such as caterers, bar service, wedding officiants, tent rental companies, cake designers, honeymoon travel agents, and more.

We have been fortunate to help hundreds of brides plan and host their weddings. We are excited about our Wedding Planning Experts podcast and being able to share wedding tips, interview other vendors, and help brides and grooms plan their wedding stress-free and on budget.
